March Madness

by

This is Women’s History month.  I’m thinking of writing short blurbs to my staff for the remainder of the month, highlighting women educational theorists.  This might help my staff to become more familiar with women that could help them become better informed about our own profession.  We need to change our image.  It needs to be an image that is perceived as more scholarly and vital.  What do you guys think?

I like this idea, Judy! In addition to becoming more familiar with women educational theorists, it would also [hopefully] inspire them to think outside of their day to day thinking. Since you mentioned, too, that you need to “change your image”, perhaps also add in women who also inspire the “vitality” component. I would love to see one of the short blurbs, so that we can be included, too.
